Position: Automotive Service Technician

Hansons Automotive Repair is seeking an experienced and reliable Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a technician at Hanson's, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that our customer's vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

• Communicate with customers to explain repairs needed and provide estimates

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed

• Keep work area clean and organized

• Continually update knowledge and skills through training and education

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• ASE certification preferred

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician

• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
